This post is linked on the Building an Audience page under the "Plugins, Tools, and Widgets" tab. I don't even remember how I ran across POWr, but ever since I've tried their easy-peasy plugins, I've been really happy. Want a plugin to gather reviews? To set up an e-store for both digital and physical products? To gather e-mail addresses for a list? To display your social media feeds? To count down to an important event? POWr can do it.
Today I finally had it. I've been looking EVERYWHERE for a plugin that would allow me to capture reviews for my stories. So far, I've modified the Weebly contact form to make a crude review form, which isn't bad, but I have to manually add the stars and copy-and-paste the text of the reviews to my page. I want something that requires less work, and that offered these features:
And it was super easy, too! I made this decision when I was on a marketing website where I was learning about how to make automated e-mail marketing one of your most valuable tools.
("Ooh, I can just put some template together, click 'Send,' and people will still be responding to my e-mails weeks from now? Sounds good. 'Cause anything that will give me the time to stop procrastinating my novel would be a really good thing." Anyway, that's a post for another day.) So I noticed that the pages on the website included the Facebook comment plugin, and an "aha!" light went off over my head. |
